The seasonally changing dishes are accompanied by hand-picked, local wines from selected winemakers. Our winemaker of the month presents his products on site and invites you to a tasting.

The wines can then also be taken directly at winemaker prices for more enjoyment at home.

Weingut Migsich – Antau, Rosalia DAC

Weingut Migsich cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Rosalia DAC wine region. The winery is known for its exceptional Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Rosé wines, grown on the ancient seabed soils of the Herrschaftsfelder vineyard.

The unique climate of the Rosalia region—where warm Pannonian days meet cool Alpine nights—creates what's known as a "cool climate" environment. This dynamic interplay lends the wines their characteristic elegance and spicy nuance.

Since 1994, Erich has been the cellar master at the estate. His passion for winemaking is clearly inherited from his father, whom he often quotes: "A top winemaker needs determination. He doesn’t stop working when he’s tired—he stops when he’s done."

NECKENMARKT die Winzer

The winemakers of Neckenmarkt are more than you might expect! We are committed to quality, deeply connected to nature, and proud of our craft. Our cooperative, based in Burgenland, consists of around 50 dedicated members. For decades, we have been producing wines of the highest quality, recognized on the international stage. Throughout the year, our winery works closely and intensively with local winemaking families.

From pruning the vines and canopy management to monitoring the vineyards with cutting-edge analysis tools – every step is carefully considered. We leave nothing to chance, and for good reason: only by working this way can we ensure the sustainable use of resources. Living with nature, not off it – this has been our shared and unwavering commitment for many years.

Domaine Pöttelsdorf Becomes Schandl's Winery

Welcome to the Schandls!

After a long and eventful history, we — brothers Thomas and Peter Schandl, along with our families — have decided to take over Domaine Pöttelsdorf and reposition it for the future. We Schandls have already been working in key positions at the winery, and moving forward, all family members will take on a more active role. The next generation is also ready to join us. As Schandl's Winery, we will focus primarily on rosé wines, reflecting the specialty of the entire Rosalia DAC wine region, where our vineyards span approximately 100 hectares.

With our positioning as a "House of Rosé", we aim to further develop this expertise. In 2024, we will launch a new line of rosé wines, including rosé sparkling wine and rosé secco. All of Schandl's Winery's rosés are made from Blaufränkisch grapes, organically cultivated, and certified "Sustainable Austria". For the time being, our popular red wines will still be available under the Domaine Pöttelsdorf brand.
