In the southern Weinviertel, specifically in Pillichsdorf, lies the Gindl winery, which has been family-run for five generations. The wine village is located at the border between the Marchfeld plain and the beginning of the Weinviertel. This region is strongly influenced by the Pannonian climate. Special attention is given to the continuous improvement of the soil to make the vineyards more resilient and vital in the face of climate change. This path was further pursued by switching to organic farming. In the cellar, expressive and varietal wines are created through sustainable work. This is also reflected in the successes of recent years, starting with finalists at the NÖ Wine, through SALON Austria, to the state winner in 2021.

The Höpler family has been producing wine since the 1860s, but it was Jost Höpler who, in the 1980s, laid the foundation for the present-day winery with a clear vision. Today, the family-owned winery offers a wide range of elegant and award-winning wines from Austria.

“We keep things simple. We allow our wines to mature in harmony, develop strong characters, and find their own identity. Their origins in our Höpler vineyards always remain tangible and lend a clear signature to our wines. We allow them the freedom to find their own balance and, in return, they thank us with their highest quality.”

Weingut LEHNER
Rust am Neusiedler See

With great enthusiasm and joy, we cultivate typical Burgenland varieties as well as internationally known ones across the Ruster Riedenarena. Our range includes fruity white wines, robust red wines, and the typical noble sweet Ruster Ausbruch DAC.

Aiming for the highest quality, innovative thinking, and a wealth of experience shape our wines. However, the most crucial factor has been the collaboration of our family over several generations. Winemaking is our passion. We enjoy tending to our vines every day and creating characterful, unique wines from them.

With us, wine becomes an experience!

"Our story begins more than 300 years ago: We, the Hagn family, were already committed to viticulture in Mailberg, Lower Austria. A lot has changed, but somehow nothing has changed – then as now, we devote ourselves day after day with great passion to viticulture and everything that goes with it.
Over the years we have always kept our finger on the pulse of the times and
today we prove that tradition and modernity are not a contradiction."

Located in the historic wine village of Falkenstein in the Weinviertel, Weingut Dürnberg is situated in a region with a rich history of grape cultivation dating back to the 12th century. The wines are distinguished by their unique aromatics and freshness, which are attributed to the region's distinctive terroir and cool microclimate.

Sustainability is a central focus, with initiatives such as targeted greening and gentle cultivation practices that enhance the vitality of the soils and vines. In the winery, great care is taken to process the grapes gently, preserving the wines' mineral character and complexity.
